IPv6 Switch ON
Indonesian Internet of Things Association (ASIOTI) on October 10, 2022, held The IPv6 Switch ON Summit to start implementing IPv6 enhanced as echoed by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia, supported by entire digital ecosystem from representatives of industry associations, operators, technology providers, and academia.
With its various advantages, IPv6 will become a strong foundation for ICT infrastructure to support the era of Smart Cities and the Internet of Things including for the development and acceleration of digital transformation supported by developments in ICT technology.
For this reason, all stakeholders in the digital ecosystem need to jointly accelerate the transition to digital technology that enables future developments, such as sending more optimal data packets, protocol numbering, which provides more and faster features, and building a safer network infrastructure.
